Getting chased and eaten by a giant, fast, hyponotizing Fen Kaiju around the village or and campingsite or a graveyard is still unbeleavable awesome if you love being the chased prey.
Tip to Crux: If you ard burned out by the new version, why not try and return to the legacy to make that version better. Autorespawn, Dialogue from Fen, maybe Vore Types into that one and it would be super round and complete. Or heck, make it open source and let the community have a take on this.
The fact the creator chose to post an update on their "Progress" in their discord rather then here and X shows their isn't any real "Progress" made and they have at this point seem to abandon the project all together, Rather then choosing where to post a progress update why not on here at least or even their X so they know their actually working on it, Accessibility > Selective posting
Is there anyway to download older versions? I would love to use one of the 2023 legacy versions. The one downloadable here has really annoying idle animations that make it impossible to see anything. Sucks this one is going through a slow cycle of devolvement hell, And this is the few that are actually good due to how it's not another interactive fiction like the majority of others, And you could make Fen a male instead of female, Which in my opinion is larger better as i am someone who isn't comfortable with cleavage or female parts, Male preds are leagues better then a female one, The growth only seems to work better in the legacy version, The hypnosis was there too, While the new version has some new stuff too i feel like that could of all been added to the legacy version rather then spiting off from there, Since we lost everything the legacy version had, CPU contred prey could of also been able to do tasks and such like a player controling one could of done, Heck an open map for a sort of turf war would of been cool to have where the prey need to complete a large amout of tasks while the pred just need to lower the number of prey via vore
Yeah, this game has become and after after tought for the developer. It is pretty much abandoned. Instead of bringing this game back to the state of the legacy, there is fiddeling around with new system that would need the main life focus and a team of 3 and 2 years ot time to fully realize.
I am done with this one and that comes fomr someone who investend up to 60 dollars into this over the course of the last 2 years
Not abandoned, the dev is working alone and life happens, however, they did post something in the Discord on the 14th, a couple hours after you posted this.
It's not removed, just not reimplemented. Game is/was going through a re-write from the ground up, and not everything is back in yet, which is why the old legacy builds are available to experience those mechanics that haven't been re-added
you can use the sandbox mode and finick with the settings of a character. i forget the exact steps but im sure you figuring out how to do it will lead to some fun (or funny) looks.
Im really in love in this game, i really hope to see new updates soon, maybe some Little Adventures times or something to try to escape from the big predetor, i also love it to do your own fav game style like maps vore art or even more!!! I will also support it bought the 5$ Version too, thank you for this masterwork.

You did not tag the legacy version with the platform they are intended for so Itch will not let anyone download them. For example, the legacy windows version needs to have that little windows badge next to it.
idk how it works but fen can get boobs, i think if they absorb a prey. There's also the shark and in old versions you can straight up toggle pred gender.

The -now legacy- version had slightly worse vore but way more content: Maps with different mechanics like the graveyard that summons Fen, a wide village, sneaking, a faster-than-you-Pred when set, giant Pred when set and hypnotization when set. Options. You had a wide range of gameplay options and this was FUN.
The "new version", that started roughly in the third quarter of 2023 got rid of all of that. It has better graphics, sure, but for a high price: Everything else and the FUN once you *got off*
No more hypno, no more cool maps. no summoning. No sizes, no sneaking.
Was suppose to be a remake of sorts? But it never recovered, never reached the standart of the legacy version again.
The only thing better and the later new, in this new version is the OV and AV/CV. AV, first good, then even better now has gotten worse then ever- visual bugs now.
You still cannot switch on all V-Methods.
I really really like this game and there is kinda no competition for now but since the switch, this game is making less-then-baby-steps which is kinda sad.
One man alone seems not enough for long-term-development of such an project but i hope i am wrong with this. Or i hope more people get to work on this because when the new version would get all the rough edges out and the old content in, it could become a monster of a game. Pun intended.
I dont want to set pressure but on the other hand, as a customer that paid for it, this critisism should be fair and rightous.
look forward to seeing more variety of creatures. like typically prey species as rabbits or livestock animals. and maybe getting hunted by them. more female characers. creatures that are smooth and slippery. like an anthro slug predator that can do all the vores.
The game is really cool but is the walk and crouch speed supposed to be so slow it feels like I'm getting stuck every step and not actually moving anywhere?
I encountered the same issue. In the settings, there is an option called [Locale]. Change it to [English (United States)], and after restarting the game, it should be fixed. Although the UI may not be visible, the functionality can still be adjusted properly. If you can't see anything, you can open the game, navigate to the first screen, press the down arrow once, press Enter once, then press the down arrow nine times, press Enter twice, select the second option, and restart the game.
Without needing to disable AV, you can access the command in the radial menu using the "T" key in-game, or whatever key it is set to (you can see it in the controls settings)

it's a joke about how i always hear the same crap: blah blah blah "can we get an android release"?, blah blah blah "can we get some fuckin?". It's really silly. Like, if your asking if the player can be a pred, fine, that's good. But everything else is just silly.
Well, I don't like it when games threaten me with a good time for one, and for two, I'm sure I could just look up the animations, so fucking up is just tedious. I suppose I could just activate all the options to make Fen brutalize you, but I'd rather play as Fen, instead of trying to avoid the thing the game is made for.
you can already play as Fen though?, in earlier versions there was a mode where you played as Fen and just ate everything in your path, And in the most recent version you can go into sandbox and just control Fen.

How do i trigger the CV?
You have to disable AV. Crux made a mistake programming this. In the current state when AV is enabled, CV does not work and vice versa.

This game is probably my dream game. Love the feeling of being hunted by a voracious predator, especially with CV. Can't wait for more, seriously.
