I was inspired by games likes Alien: Isolation. Fen uses sight, sound, and touch to find you (and your peers). Running makes you more visible and creates quite a racket. Don't tire yourself out too quickly, or you won't be able to escape when Fen corners you...

Legacy version
I'm working on a major re-write of the game, allowing you to play as any character and greatly expanding what the game is capable of.
Until I've re-implemented everything, you'll be able to download a "legacy" version of the game.
Content
Content warnings: vore and digestion. There are also optional bones and vivid prey vocals you can enable. The new version contains many kinds of vore, including sexually explicit varieties such as cock vore and anal vore. The legacy version also contains hypnosis and gore.

I don't know if this is for only me but I have the cock vore content enabled but it still won't let me cock vore or get cock vored I have to use the ` button to feed myself cause theres no actual button to do it
Yeah, currently you have to disable Analvore and Enable Cockvore and vice versa.
Currently this shares kinda the same code/behaviour/triggers and you have to *choose*.
Its a known bug for now and hopefully, Crux will fix that in due time.
Fen needs a visible Butthole now that he stuffs us in there
And can you make a slider for *ingestion speed* OR, since there is already a struggle command, let that trigger a slow ? Pretty please would be awesome! ^^
concept i great so far! is there a way you can make it so that Anal vore doesn't over-ride cock vore though?
Love the new build! A few more maps would be nice, An option to allow the player to remap their controls could help with having all vore enabled, Maybe the new maps could spark some ideas for some ambient lighting like if the camp/forest map returned on got some re-working the campfire could give light or even the player could find and pick up a light source adding a bit of challenge, Would love to see the Wearhouse map return and get updated, I have an idea for a type of character that i would like to see, A yeen might work as a switch of pred and prey, Look forward too see more builds in the future!

Any plans to put this on steam or for steamdeck users to enjoy?
Eventually! I’m actually testing it with a Steam build right now (which isn’t released yet).
In the meantime, it does work well on the Deck – you just have to install it through Itch in desktop mode and then manually add it to Steam.
For anyone trying to slow down the swallows..
I found a way, by pressing ` (top left of keyboard) you can open a menu.. Spawn fen normally, go to entities, click on Fen (or other pred) and then click on the part you want to enjoy longer
afterwards simply check override swallows and use the slider to determine how much you want to get swallowed
I reccomend spawning in a griffon as well and choose feed self to get that exact animation without having to change the settings :3
also use pin to keep the segment open even after closing entities to save space

...buut the control menu in the main menu completely breaks the UI for me with the newest version

What does “breaks the UI” mean? Does the menu disappear, stop responding, etc?
So basically the navigators at the top dissapear if you go to controls, choose one of the options and go back to the main menu before opening controls again
Now you're stuck in the controls menu, and if you click on something again even the controls segment on the top dissapears
None of the controls are displayed for me as well so I don't know if something went wrong when I installed it or something

backspace worked for me, honestly didn't know that was a thing so I restarted the game every time

Will the shark character be updated?
because I like the design it has and besides it is more exciting when shark, fen and latex fen are on the hunt but I get bugged when the shark catches me I don't know why

also I'm a super big fan of the new anal vore visuals, idk how new they are since I didn't update the game a while but I love it alot
just sadly the first person visual bug or the AV is now happening to me personally, I read that was an issue in earlier versions but I honestly never had any isues ^^;
But I also just wanted to thank you for supplying us with such a good game, it looks great, the sound design is so so good (especially the AV sounds with each swallow now >///<) and I just appreciate your hard work so much, you did an amazing job :3

i have downloaded the game but i have not seen any of the updated should i delete the game and redownload it?
I liked this update, I've been waiting for the opportunity to play as a predator for a long time, the overall quality of the project has also increased significantly, it feels closer to a completely finished product.
On the plus side: AV and BV appeared, but these are not pluses for me, fortunately this can be disabled.
On the downside, I don’t like the new model of the Hairdryer with the chest and belly. He used to be slim and without breasts. I would like to ask you to add a function for selecting the presence of these parameters, unless of course this does not contradict your beliefs.
I would love some more behaviour and interaction from Fen.
He is kinda like a robot.
Would love some talking, lurking around, teleporting from shadow to shadow, some roars, snickers, idle animations, saliva running down his mouth, some teeth licking when almost in range and some post-vore comments and or animations like picking his teeth, bumping his belly, loud, head lifting burps, snickers and even lying down somewhere for an post-vore nap.
To make him more memorable, more personal, more dangerous and frightening.
Maybe someone here who would love and like to help you! (Just a thought).

Saying things like "I know you're out there somewhere..." if you were seen, but Fen lost track of where you are. Would also love to hear Fen comment on things, like if you find a gap that is too small for Fen, but you can fit inside and be out of reach, such as "You're lucky... but you'll need to leave some time... and when you do... I will be waiting."

As Okwolf suggested: Vore/Swallowing speed adjusments would really, really be awesome. I would really love to lower those and drag this out, enjoying the joyrides through all of Fens internals. Maybe with some interactions like struggles, bumps, even slight crawl/fight-baxks possible.
Other than that, you are on an awesome way now and really love how you go ham now!. Expect another buy next month ! <3

That’ll happen once I iron out some more kinks with how configurations are saved – you’ll just wind up picking from a list of presets, or pick one to customize (and then save!).

I can't seem to get Fen or the Shark to try and vore any of the gryphons. Did and undid everything, even checked and unchecked intangible players and set them to the most aggressive. They just walk past the gryphons without even picking them up or anything.
Anyone else getting this issue too?
EDIT: Found out my own issue. I'm just an idiot and forgot to turn off interactions between entities.

You can toggle a neutral one in the sandbox mode. Not in buffet or pursuit though. I assume it will become a toggle somewhere outside sandbox at some point.

The newest update is awesome! I really love the way you implemented Vore and Anal Vore. The static pov is really great in this case.
You can play with it, for example adding toggable acids, adding an arm that flails, pushes and fights on the way into and inside Fens gut and disolves in the end (toggle: Into a bone when gore up)
No matter what comes next, feature wise you are back where the legacy verson has been.

anyone know what button opens the director menu in sandbox theres no prompt on the screen. Nevermind you have to hold tab not tap it.
I just realized I turned off those hints to record a video and…never turned them back on.

based off of those being options you can turn on in some of the creator's other vore games, probably eventually, but right now they seem to be mainly focusing on bringing everything that was in the legacy version of Predatory Pursuit to this new version.
why dose it just show a black screen with a line when I press after the press any button screen?
i recommend sending a screenshot along with some device info, like what device your on, and if you extracted the files or not
Since the newest update, if you start either a scenario or sandbox game, it does the loading animation but then just stayes there until it crashes!
Edit: Its the Loading Screen, wich is Bugged. Inside the Debug Options if you disaable it it then loads into the Game Scene again!
Recently tried the MacOs version and I appear to be stuck on a blue screen after loading the game normally. I tried messing around with a few settings in graphics, but it seems to be stuck on the blue screen in game. The UI and main menu work just fine though.
Looks like the entire scene is failing to render. What’re your system specs?
Legacy seems to be running fine with no errors, not sure if that would help. But either way, I have to get rid of this piece of junk. XD

The new menu in the experimental version is really nice. While it's not as stylized, it's so much easier to use, and it still looks great!
So I hope I'm not the only one, but in the new experimental version(2024-02-25) the shark doesn't react at all, it just stands on the same spot. The Fen also doesn't respond to Preys. The Fen does walk around, but it doesn't react to the shark or the Gryphon. You can no longer grab and swallow preys, but only absorb them directly. It's not fun. The idea of a character who can do both isn't bad, but if the shark just stands, does nothing, doesn't react to anything, it's no fun. And as I said, the Pred doesn't swallow the Preys anymore, but they lands directly into the belly. I'm sure it shouldn't be that way. And the Pred doesn't react to Preys, just walks past him even if you're standing in front of him.
That’s odd – it kind of sounds like you have the “Block Perceptions” debug setting enabled. Make sure that isn’t turned on in the settings!
