Seems like the most recent experimental update with the new map, breathing and some fixes broke the transition of the camera from your POV to spectating the pred when they eat you.
Oh yeah, I noticed something like that a day or two ago…I thought I fixed that, but I must not have made another build since then. I’ll look at that soon!
I have a problem with the game, when I start the game I can hear the sounds but my screen doesn't show nothing, do you know why this could be happening?
The UI doesn't seem to be functioning properly. When I load up the game, the menu doesn't seem to show up, only the title screen. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?
There’s no “title screen”, just a main menu that happens to have the title at the top. Are you only seeing the title by itself, then? A screenshot would be helpful.
Ah, I should word my sentence differently. The menu is just the name of the game, and nothing else seems to be showing up. I'm not sure what causes the issue...
I’m waffling on whether I’ll do a full predator mode, or if I’ll just have a way to direct Fen around. It doesn’t sound that hard (most of Fen’s complexity is in its AI, after all).
I already realy love the gameplay. The rigt feeling of being chased is there, when Fen is coming after you.
Gets the heart rate pumping already pumping good.
Althou the vore is still a little to fast in my opinion.
When you want and can add more depth into that, maybe a grab/pining down-phase, a wet lick-phase, a maw stuff-phase, a gulping-phase and then a digestion phase with even an not-easy-but-doable potential escape-mechanic would be awesome.
Of course everything in third-person or first-person, how the player wants :P
Then maybe a win-Szenarion (last prey standing, escaping somehow, survive a certain time till dawn, this can really become the king of vore games in my opinion.
For some reason when i open the game, all i see is a grey screen. If you know how to fix this, it would be super appreciated to tell me, cause this game looks amazing from what people are saying. Thanks!
(Edit): Would i need to download something form a third party for it to work?
Really really promising. Would love it to be 100% first person and slower while you see yourself go down his mouth, gullet, into the stomach as the view then gets red, than fade to black.
This can become a really cool game. You should set up a patreon and go full in on this in my opinion.
I was searching for something like this for years!
It’s something I’m considering. I will probably be getting the third person stuff working properly first, then exploring how to do this in first-person. It’d definitely be powerful!
I'm starting to get more and more interested and excited to try out this game of yours, even though it's just starting out small I'm loving every addition and detail you add on to this game as you work on it more bit by bit and I can't wait to see how much further you plan to go with it until you're satisfied but even then I hope you can go even further than what you already have done with it so far especially if you happen to plan to make other games similar to it in some shape or form later on in the future!
Definitely really neat! Love seeing a project that stands out among so many others! Can't say I've really found any other 3D vore games that are actual games rather than just interactives. If I had to recommend anything for the vore aspect, I'd say adding more focus onto the actual vore would be nice. Right now, it feels like the idea of vore is there, and not much else since you are there one minute, than in the stomach the very next. The addition of sliding down the throat, possibly even with the ability to manually forward in phases with looping animations, would really add a lot to this.
I.E, you're held dangling above an open maw in phase 1, press E or Space to move onto phase two where your head is dropped in, press E or space again to move onto phase 3 where you're sliding down the throat, and so on.
Regardless of what you choose to do, this is a very interesting endeavor so far, and I look forward to seeing how it progresses! It fills a very sparse niche, and I thank you for that.
I’m not planning to let the player have much agency over the eating process, but I am looking into having Fen play with its food a lot more. So, dangling prey over its jaws, swallowing them slowly, that kind of thing.
I love where this project is going and the clips you've made of it really got my attention.
I just want to report a bug on my end, in case it's useful: The hypnosis effect is always mispositioned. The screen is completely taken up by the bars that should come from the lower left. If I turn up and right enough, I can sometimes see the diamond that is supposed to be over the eyes.
I'm using the windows x64 zip on a windows x64 laptop.
Yeah, I was just testing the new build, myself, and I have the same displaced effect.
One thing that has changed for me is that the lighting looks incredibly different. Most of the outside used to be pitch black and the outside lamp used to unbearable to look at. I don't know what changed that.
My display is the 1920x1080 144Hz screen of a laptop, in case that is relevant.
I did some more testing around the hypno effect bug I have to see how it worked with the new body glow.
Eye and body glow hypnosis both have the same weird error but the glow does correctly align my vision towards the eyes so it does know where they actually are.
I had an instance where the eye hypnosis had managed to focus somewhat (still up and to the right of where it should be) and then the body glow occurred and that caused the focal point to slide up and to the right until it was back off of the screen. It's almost as if it that is some default state and the hypnosis being "reset" caused it to tend towards it.
Does the hypno effect that plays while loading work right? That’s the only usage of that effect that doesn’t depend on converting a world-space position into a screen-space one.
When I load the game and first pick a scene, it plays perfectly - it looks high-res and is centred correctly. It converges inwards, lags for a second, then diverges outwards.
When I change from one scene to another, it only has the lower left bars. They start from the lower left corner then travel up and to the right to fill the screen. Once the whole screen is full, it suddenly changes to the "correct" fully-covered screen (where it is focused on the centre) and diverges out from that normally.
Side note: Sometimes the Spawn player prey button doesn't seem to be clickable.
Edit: When changing scene, the loading effect can sometimes focus on screen (still up and to the right). It seems to improve based on some weird variables. Maybe how long I have been on the scene or how angled I am away from looking at the pred.
Locking the render scale in the new upload at 100% fixed the hypnosis rendering! Thank you so much!
The head turn to look at a noise is also a cool addition and the new audio is great. I have one suggestion and one bug to report.
Fen is often looking the wrong way for the body glow hypnosis to lead to eye hypnosis. I would suggest that it look around to detect body-hypnotised players or for affected players to make a noise like a whimper which then gets Fen's attention.
I've noticed that "Spawn player prey" spawns a non-player prey if pressed while in MonsterPOV (or at least it stays in the POV). The menu changes as if the player is in a body (showing Prey Debug and Enter spectator mode) but the camera doesn't.
Is there anymore that you plan to add on to this game of yours like say for instance maybe possibly make it into some kind of RPG or perhaps even give it some kind of storyline that's kind of similar to some of those action, adventure, and/or fighting games that are out there these days or something along those lines?
From the gameplay you've showed so far, it seems like you're really off to a good start with this project of yours, I just hope that you can improve it bit by bit as you work on it following along to your own schedule so it doesn't seem like it's all being viewed from the perspective of a VR headset and once it's improved to the point that you're satisfied with it maybe it could be close enough to be similar to another game project like this one Hungry Critters that's also based/centered/focused on that kink/fetish known as vore only with a little bit more clear graphics and details involving how the individual will be swallowed whole and digested as well as what other kinds of possibilities can happen between the two of them only if of course there are other kinds of actions that can be taken outside orally ingesting them If you understand my meaning behind that (?).

can you possibly make it so that the player can play as the predator? It seems like a good idea in my opinion.

any chance for other types of vore? also maybe a bit longer digestion? maybe a first person pov too?
this, honestly other types like cv, would love to see that be added later on
This is honestly really good! I can't wait to see where this goes~
I have a problem with the game, when I start the game I can hear the sounds but my screen doesn't show nothing, do you know why this could be happening?
Do you mean the main menu or the actual gameplay?
The actual gameplay

Hmm, okay, this looks like something is going wrong with the localization system.
What language is your computer configured to use?
The language is defaulted to English, and everything I have is naturally up to date. Both Mac platform and date/time.
Thank you a bunch for looking into the issue however!

Wonderful updates!

You should introduce your game on eka and voredalive for some exposure :D

(Edit): Would i need to download something form a third party for it to work?
I don’t know what would be causing that. Are you using an older computer? It might not support all of the functionality that the game needs.
I might try doing it on my laptop instead. Its a lot newer, ty for the tip

lovely work♥
I know this is probably pretty early but will there be any other different types of vore or will you gost keep it to oral?
Making wonderfully swift progress with this, especially in making Fen dynamic in their actions and reactions.
Looking forward to seeing how far you take it, keep it up!

Can't say I entirely agree with the decision, but it's the dealer's choice, after all! I look forward to seeing what you add!
Great progress you're making, I'm sure this will be a masterpiece by the end!

Here's an image. itch was having issues with me uploading it to the previous post.
I get this if I resize the game window in the editor after starting it. I suspect something isn’t getting updated…
I’ll see if I can update that every frame or something.
Okay, I ruled that out. Something else is going wrong!

Oh, that’s just because I raised the brightness of the moon/sun. The lighting is a lot less extreme now.
I preferred the darkness for atmosphere, but the lamp was indeed painful.

I’m not really envisioning that: it’s just a big pile of Horny Vore. There might be some light horror-themed backstory, though.
Hits all the right buttons and love the concept, can't wait to see more
Seems like a cool concept!
