Experimental build: better stealth indicators, entity targeting, and some swallowing tweaks

Stealth Indicators

I’ve improved the indicators I added last week. You can see all three of them in this video.

  • The bottom right sound meter tells you how loud you are compared to everything else around you. If your noises are going past the white box, you’re being very loud
  • The other bottom right meter tells you how well lit you are.
  • The top right sound meter tells you how clearly you’re being heard by your target. Yellow boxes mean the entity can partially hear you, and red boxes mean you’re very audible

I’m still playing around with the aesthetics here.

Targeting

You can now press Z to target an entity. You can only target things that your possessed entity can actually perceive (so it might take a second for the indicator to come up).

Doing this will filter out activities that target other entities. Here’s an example!

The gigantic circle is kind of annoying. I will be working on that.

Other stuff

  • Entities can completely ignore sensations after they finish an investigation
    • This prevents Fen from permanently staring at the Very Loud Cube
    • Sounds you make don’t technically get “investigated”, so you can’t get ignored like that
  • I fixed the inverse kinematics on the grab action, so Fen will properly reach for its target now
  • Oral vore now only performs a single gulp automatically. The rest are manual gulps.
    • I also tweaked the swallowing path to make it look better. There’s still some weird jumping.
  • Latex Fen no longer has some strands of goop stuck in your face when in first person
  • Fen makes slightly less extreme facial expressions after eating something
  • The Sensation Menu now has a proper volume range (it was still using the old values from before the hearing changes)
