Even more Fen, control hints, menu improvements
You can now experience Huge Fen; it’s twice as big as usual, and will swallow you whole in a single gulp. Fun! Note that Fen will be clipping through ceilings for the time being – I don’t have a good way to recalculate where it can stand or crouch. I’ll need to think on that one for a bit!
That setting is in the Difficulty category, along with the latex toggle.
That video also shows how you can now spawn prey by clicking on the ground. This should be very useful for those who just want to watch Fen eat a whole mess of people (:
Hints can now pop up in certain contexts. You can control how often they appear. They should help to make functionality more obvious! The most relevant new thing here is the ability to manually struggle in Fen’s gut.
Note that letting you manually struggle means that I now only consider the player to be “gone” when fully digested, rather than right after being gulped. This might’ve broken a thing or two.
You can now configure anti-aliasing. The game used to default to TAA; the standard setting is now medium-quality SMAA.
The Controls menu is now automatically generated from the input system, so it’ll always be correct now. It’s still a little bare-bones. I’d like to add rebinding support soon.
