Experimental build: New weight gain mechanics

I’m working on new weight gain mechanics. The digestive process now looks like this:
- Fen eats you
- Your liveness starts going down. When it reaches zero, you’re dead, and Fen belches. Live prey make Fen’s gut slosh and wobble.
- The lower your liveness is, the faster your intactness drops. When it reaches zero, Fen’s stomach is completely rounded out.
- The lower your intactness is, the faster your mass drops. When it reaches zero, Fen’s stomach is flat.
- When prey loses mass, Fen gains an equivalent amount of spare mass. This mass contributes to weight gain.
- When Fen has spare mass, its metabolism starts going up. This takes around ten seconds right now.
- Once Fen’s metabolism is high enough, spare mass is rapidly turned into size.
This build changes the second half of the process – it used to just directly add to size and weight. The new system allows for one of my favorite things to happen: prey digests -> predator gets heavy -> predator grows and slims back down
Some other random stuff:
- The “Hungry” mode now guarantees that Fen will eat you. “Famished” makes it swallow you in one gulp, even if Fen hasn’t gotten that big.
- I dramatically cut the camera wobble – it now ignores about 75% of the rotation of the head. This might become an issue once I add animated leaning…but I’ll figure it out! I’ll add settings for this at some point, since it does make a lot of sense for the found-footage camera.
