Experimental build: interface improvements
This experimental build adds a few miscellaneous improvements to the game’s interface.
There’s a new meter in the bottom right that shows how bright your surroundings are – relative to how dark-adapted Fen’s eyes are. If you’re in an area that’s lit-up enough for Fen to see you, the meter will be high.
You’re now shown a “game over” screen after being digested. You can respawn or quit to the main menu.
The main menu is a little slicker looking now. I also added a proper splash screen.
Interactions now show a small prompt when they’re available. I’m probably going to remove the old, floaty hint prompts from those. I did get rid of motion blur on the hints, at least!
Also, the basement has a new look: it’s very dimly lit, with a few intense spotlights scattered around. This should help you to get a feel for Fen’s vision! I did make some changes – I think Fen’s vision is slightly worse now. You can adjust how good its night vision is in the Difficulty section (which has some missing strings, oops)

Wonderful to see you return to PPursuit one again. Still a lot of untapped potential in this one! =>
