Experimental build: internal audio
Predatory Pursuit » Devlog
This update introduces spatial audio regions. If sound has to travel from one region to another, it can become more muffled. Additionally, sound in the region you’re currently in can completely ignore the normal spatialization.
The end result is that, when Fen Gets You:
- You’ll hear the digestion sounds all around you, rather than just hearing them coming from a single point
- Digestion audio won’t be muffled
- Sounds from the outside will be muffled
Other changes:
- The menu is a lot faster to create now! This should speed up scene loading by a little
- Prey ragdolls no longer “fly in” when spawned. You might have noticed a bit of motion blur as they spawn, as well as some very weird behavior if Fen grabs them quickly. This fixes both of those issues
- You can skip the splash screen (the content warning at the start) after the first launch of the game.

Do the experimental builds become public after they are fully functional or do they just become paid? (I don't feel like searching for my other comment where I asked a similar question to see if it was answered.)
Man, you are just slapping out updates, and each one actually adds content, I'm impressed.
