Bones, prey vocals, and a new sound system


A new public build is available. You can read about the majority of the changes in these three dev logs:

I’m still getting used to using FMOD, and I haven’t thoroughly tested it on Windows and Linux. Please let me know if it seems like sound is wildly broken on your platform!

Also, the game has a new bit of cover art! The old screenshot of Fen in a very murky cloud of volumetric fog was a bit out of date…

I also gave the game an icon.

How menacing.

I am planning to do some work on the AI next. I’d like Fen to really search for you (especially in complex environments with places to hide!). Stay tuned for that…

Edit: I uploaded a new build to fix a problem with the dust particles in the basement. They were spawning way too fast and kinda’…pulsing on and off.
